It’s been quite a year for the Buckinghamshire trio. Not only have they released the deliciously eccentric Diseasy Living LP, but have also had the pleasure of supporting some of their musical heroes – namely, Stiff Little Fingers, GBH, and The Blockheads. And in November they’ll be supporting From the Jam.

Their latest works sees them stick to their beloved whacky roots with the Man with the Golden Gurn trilogy of self-loathing and hidden charms. Part I is a catchy cocktail of old school punk riffs, joyous whoops and tightly controlled drum explosions - hold on to the seat of your pants for a head nodding crash bang wallop of a ride. Part II is a surf ‘n’ destroy face-off between the Barracudas and the Champs (Tequila); and part III is a two minute blast that will smack you square in the chops and leave you gurning for more.

Unable to sit still, the prolific three-piece are currently in the studio working on their second album, Uber Kerblammo, scheduled for a February 2012 release. But in the meantime enjoy the new EP from those fine purveyors who firmly put the pun into punk.

See them live in November supporting From the Jam.
