Pistol wit da Bangaz, CEO of Luxury Boss Made, the popular hip hop record label and clothing line, announced new plans today for growing his brand as a turn-key solution to support the needs of independent artists. The CEO describes his current focus as working towards building a foundation for independent artists to get publishing, distribution, and start collecting royalties for their music.
As an artist himself, Pistol is well versed in what it takes to make it as a hip hop artist. In September, he used his insider knowledge to help promote the release of his 3 new singles, “Audio Pablo”, “Tabbanaccle”, and “Shower”. In the few weeks since dropping the singles, the songs have garnered over 120,000 streams on Spotify.
“For independent artists, it can be very difficult to figure out how to handle marketing and monetize,” said Pistol. “This is something we’re expert in at Luxury Boss Made. Just like we’ve done with our own brand, we are working on ways to help artists build their brand from the ground up.”
Pistol noted that the process of building a brand for an artist starts with experimentation to find a unique sound.
“In the music world, there’s no standing still,” he said. “You must constantly strive to evolve and tour with the purpose of offering something unique to devoted fans and followers.”
His label plans to launch specific programs geared towards helping new independent artists launch their careers quickly. Additional announcements are expected in early 2022.
