Hail From Russia ‘Ghosts Of The Past’ the brand new single is available now.
Irish Rock band 'Hail from Russia' are intent on taking their listener on a journey of substance with their intense, energetic style of music that has drawn comparisons to 'The Blue Stones', 'Bones UK' and 'The Arctic Monkeys'.
‘Ghosts Of The Past’ is part love letter, part apology. But, while it holds a deep message, it is also a full-on funky and intense modern rock track that builds tension and explodes into a powerful chorus.
Produced by Dave Skelton (Rofi James, Faraway Martin), the track aims to set pulses racing and bodies moving with an upbeat and hopeful message that it is possible to lose our hang-ups and wipe the slate clean.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist Peter Lawlor is originally a native of Dundalk, and has been living in the west of Ireland since 2013.
Currently working as a music educator with Music Generation Mayo, he started out studying performing arts. 'Hail from Russia' began to take form in 2019 with the motivation to create intense, energetic music that builds tension and brings the listener on a journey of substance.
Hail from Russia aims to include elements in the music that are catchy, without going on a “three-chord” journey.
