New musicians service, Chartburst.com, which launched in beta (testing mode) in January promises to put talented unsigned artists music in front of major record label A&R (talent scouts) for deal consideration and constructive feedback. With labels such as Sony, Universal and Warner on board, there isn't anywhere else that can offer such great industry exposure.

Chartburst has several publicly-voted, genre-specific charts. Musicians upload one of their tracks to the most suitable chart, invite their friends and fans to vote for it and if it is in the top five when the charts (periodically) reset, it will be forwarded to major label A&R, multi-platinum Producers and Artist Management Companies in order to offer the right unsigned artists record deals, mentorship and management.

The service has only been in existence for a few weeks but already boasts thousands of unsigned artists and listeners. There is talk of a Chartburst UK-based TV show and the company has already secured national radio play for one of their artists and meetings with Sony and Warner for another!

As the service is still in beta (testing) mode, musicians require an invite code to sign up and start uploading. Music News have teamed up with Chartburst to offer some of the few remaining invites exclusively to our readers! The code to use to sign up as a musician (not required for listeners) is: EARLYBIRD99
