Bandbook Inc.™ reveals its newly revamped website,
www.bandbook.com which delivers Indie bands and musicians a suite of FREE management tools. Bandbook is dedicated to being the “one-stop-shop” website to efficiently coordinate all aspects of successfully managing and playing in a band.
The reinvented
www.bandbook.com is still focused on helping bands with the nuts and bolts of management, including managing rehearsals, booking and promoting gigs, creating set lists, managing merchandise inventory, and communication within the band. However, the newly released site now includes a social component which helps bands connect with their fans and other bands, and potentially even expand their fanbase. Fans get a custom calendar that just shows the concerts they are interested in to easily keep track of their favorite bands in one place. It’s a win-win: fans find new music they like and bands get new fans.
Bandbook.com users, affectionately referred to as “bandits” will find a host of great tools, including an easy to use calendar for scheduling rehearsals and gigs, profile pages to promote yourself and your band through pictures, video, and audio, a finance tracker, a contacts page so you can easily remember who you have “ins” with at various venues and studios, and much more. Whether you use your laptop or a mobile device, you always have access to bandbook, and the best part is it’s free!
Bandbook CEO Matt Queen says, “Our mission is to provide cutting edge, internet based products that will revolutionize the music industry, even beyond what we are making available today. Whether you are a garage band or full blown commercial success, we are confident that using the tools and features on bandbook.com will make it easier for bands to concentrate on the important stuff – making great music.”
Proving the old adage “necessity is the mother of invention” true, Bandbook started as an idea born out of frustration and quickly grew to a small team of dedicated innovators. Musicians and music lovers, the Bandbook staff knows firsthand the difficulties of being in a working band. That knowledge drives them to create the best in free tools in the hopes that the only thing musicians will have to worry about is their craft.
