BOBCOM, the UK’s revolutionary online music community for independent artists, has come together with LIPA (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) to announce the launch of The 2ube, a monthly programme dedicated to showcasing the finest young talent the Institute has to offer.

As the first collaboration of its kind, The 2ube will broadcast live and exclusively, once a month, via BOBCOM’s website. Each broadcast will not only provide a platform for an array of LIPA talent and the hottest BOBCOM artists, but also feature master classes and performances from established artists affiliated with BOBCOM and LIPA.

Launching on October 28th, The 2ube kicks off this exclusive series with an interview and performance from headline act Pearl and the Puppets plus performances from LIPA bands Laura James and Kodiak and BOBCOM artist Robert Jordan. Each programme will be streamed live from 5pm to 7pm and available thereafter on the BOBCOM YouTube channel.

LIPA is located in Sir Paul McCartney’s old school, the Liverpool Institute for Boys, which underwent a multi-million-pound renovation to turn it into a state-of-the-art performing arts higher education institution. It was founded by Sir Paul and Mark Featherstone-Witty and opened in 1995 with the aim of providing the best teaching and learning for people who want to pursue a lasting career in the arts and entertainment industry, whether as performers or those who make performance possible.
