95-106 Capital FM’s Help a Capital Child is pleased to announce the launch of its first national appeal weekend, taking place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th October.
Giving Capital FM listeners three days of special programming, spectacular showbiz guests, and money can’t buy auction prizes, the Help a Capital Child Appeal will help young people with cancer by raising money to fund Teenage Cancer Trust units and staff. Teenage Cancer Trust provides specialist units within NHS hospitals across the UK, treating young people with cancer together in an environment designed just for them.
Over the weekend, JLS, The Wanted, Ed Sheeran, James Corden and The Xtra Factor’s Olly Murs and Caroline Flack, are just some of the hit-music and celebrity guests who will be stopping by Capital FM studios around the UK to lend their support to the appeal. With pop sensation Britney Spears set to auction backstage tickets to her Femme Fatale tour and Celebrity Juice’s Keith Lemon taking over Roberto’s mid-morning show on Friday, this is a weekend not to be missed.
Help a Capital Child is encouraging listeners in London, Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester, North East, Scotland, South Coast, South Wales, and Yorkshire to help to raise money for the appeal. Tune into 95-106 Capital FM or visit capitalfm.com/give for more info.
