NOEL GALLAGHER has accused a baggage handler of stealing his favourite jacket.

The Oasis star discovered his coat was missing when he and the band arrived home after their tour of the US.

The 41-year-old guitarist called the airport worker a "c****" and added: "I didn't bother much with the unpacking when we got home after the America tour.

"But on closer inspection, on the day I packed for this bit, it would seem that somewhere between Washington and Heathrow some c*** baggage handler has been and stole a leather jacket - my favourite, favourite jacket - out of my suitcase."

Speaking from Brussels on his official tour blog, Gallagher said he was "devastated" about the loss.

A spokesman for Heathrow airport told Gallagher that the airline, the name of which was not revealed, could help find out where the coat had gone.

He said: "BAA staff do not come into contact with the baggage that is in the hold. You would need to speak to the airline to find out what has happened."
