Glasshouse are offering one uniquely talented individual the chance of a lifetime: a sought-after place behind the Glasshouse decks, and the chance to turn a bedroom-bound infatuation into a potentially life-changing career.
Once chosen, the lucky aspiring DJ will be given the opportunity to play for a pumped-up audience of thousands; not only at Glasshouses regular (and infamously well-attended) night in Leeds @ Mission, but also at their hotly anticipated event in Ibiza the ultimate clubbers paradise, and an island that has acted as an all-or-nothing stepping stone in the careers of almost every superstar DJ worth mentioning planned for summer 2009.
Glasshouse, Leeds most reputable and beloved club night, continues to draw the largest and most devoted crowds in the city on the strength of their residents alone, regularly out-selling competitors who rely solely on big-name DJs rather than the unique history, ecstatic atmosphere, and pure love of music that define Glasshouse. It is rare that a punter or DJ leaves the night untouched by the experience; David Morales described his Glasshouse set as my best UK gig in ten years., along with recent praise from DJs such as Laidback Luke, Sander Kleinenberg and Sandy Rivera.
Glasshouses award-winning team (who walked away with Best Club Night at last years Leeds Bar and Club Awards) will be hosting no less than eight dates for Ibizas Cream @ Amnesia during 2008, alongside Mixmag. This is their fifth consecutive year of hosting The Terrace for Cream, and promises to be one of the best yet.
