Last Wednesday Music-News Unsigned took over The Cuban in Camden to bring you some of the best unsigned live acts around.

The night kicked off at 8 with Foxtrot Bravo, an Anglo/Swedish five piece band that blends the best of Scandinavian cool with British Indie and its own twist on Japanese pop. These were followed by Coppers for Karma. Billed as ‘a hot mouthful of up-beat driving funkbilly’ and ‘the London threesome you most want to be part of” they certainly didn’t disappoint. The Instants who played third - a quirky bunch with even quirkier songs - had the crowd on their feet with their sixties spirit, their stomping garage grooves, and their addictive tracks about women-pleasing robots on planet mars and peculiar transsexuals called Julia. Headlining the night were Drunken Balordi, a truly international bunch of gipsies that sing about drinking, erotic pleasure, temptation, vulgarity and everyday life on the streets of London.

Following the success of the night, this week (Wednesday 30th) sees the showcase move to The Ramshackle, 4 Fulham High Street (nearest tube Putney bridge). So what are you waiting for? Get down to the show, grab a spot near the front and prepare your badass self for a deluge of aural pleasure guaranteed to raise a smile, swivel the hips and loosen the bra-strap.

Music-News Unsigned is determined to introduce to you the hottest, quirkiest and most unique talent around in the UK. Don’t miss your chance to see our first four bands performing live at a showcase set to become London’s cornerstone of unsigned talent promotion – an absolute must for those who want to discover first the rising, new stars.

Doors open at 7.30, see you there!
