Dizzee & Ting Tings to collaborate

Dizzee Rascal is hoping to collaborate with The Ting Tings.

Dizzee, real name Dylan Mills, is over the moon at being No 1 in the mid-week singles charts with his latest collaborative effort, Dance Wiv Me with Calvin Harris.

He told the BBC: "It feels good because it's the first release on my own label and it's looking like going to the top which means a lot."

He added: "I hear Basshunter is on my tail but it doesn't matter. I've not heard his tune anyway."

The East London grime man recently covered The Ting Tings No 1 hit That's Not My Name for a radio session.

He said: "I'd love to collaborate with The Ting Tings on a song. I met them at Glastonbury and I told them I was going to do this cover and I said, "We should work together as well and Franz Ferdinand.'"
