John Lydon wants to write for Britney

John Lydon has divulged that he would like to write a song for Britney Spears.

The former Sex Pistols frontman feels that he could help her with her career and has put himself forward as a potential songwriter.

John told The Sun: "I haven't written a song for Britney yet but I would love to."

He added: "I'd like to help out because there's a girl who needs some help. She's been hurt and hurt is the root core of good music."
