Glastonbury’s union-organised Left Field stage kick off a number of warm up events for the festival this week with a show in Liverpool on Wednesday night as part of a reciprocal deal that will showcase some of the finest young Merseyside talent at Glastonbury at the end of June.

Confirmed for the Glastonbury versus the Capital of Culture bill on the Thursday afternoon at Left Field are ELLE S'APPELLE, MARRIED TO THE SEA, THE DAISY RIOTS, THE RASCALS and THE SEAL CUB CLUBBING CLUB.

This Wednesday, 14th May, Glastonbury’s Left Field will take over the Liverpool Carling Academy with a show featuring all of the bands heading for Worthy Farm in June and raising funds for campaign group Anti-Slavery International. The show is also supported by the North West TUC and their drive to recruit young people into trade unions.

Anti-Slavery International are long-term partners at Glastonbury Left Field and have been nominated as beneficiaries from the Liverpool show by Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis.
