Garbage will release of a new single, "Tell Me Where It Hurts", on July 16.
The track is taken from "Absolute Garbage", a best of compilation, which will be issued a week later on July 23.
Despite being on hiatus since 2005, the group reunited in January 2007 to play a benefit concert in California.
"Absolute Garbage" will be available as a double disc CD with a bonus DVD of music videos, live clips and behind-the-scenes footage.
The bonus CD will feature remixes from the likes of UNKLE, Massive Attack, The Crystal Method, Todd Terry and Felix Da Housecat.
