The View have announced details of the release of a new single, The
Don, through 1965 Records on April 23rd 2007.

The single, taken from their debut album, Hats Off To The Buskers, which reached number one upon release in January and has so far sold in excess of 300,000 copies in the UK, follows their top 5 single, Same Jeans.

The band, who recently completed the NME Awards Tour alongside The Horrors, Mumm Ra and The Automatic, head out in April on their own headline tour. The tour sold out within an hour of going on sale in late January, with the Glasgow date going in 5 minutes.

The band have also been announced to perform alongside Noel Gallagher at the forthcoming Teenage Cancer Trust concert on March 26th at the Royal Albert Hall. The band are also currently firming up their festival appearances across the summer – they have so far been confirmed to play a homecoming show at the T In The Park festival in July.
