Katy Perry has fuelled rumours of an impending collaboration with Taylor Swift by sharing a picture of a plate of cookies apparently baked for her by the singer.

The Roar hitmaker took to Instagram on Tuesday to post the snap, showing the freshly-baked biscuits on a plate, which had the words "Peace at Last" written on the edge in orange frosting.

"Feels good," Katy wrote in the caption, tagging Taylor, who responded with a string of heart emojis. The geotag on the picture read "Let's Be Friends" - leading to fans speculating that an upcoming duet between the former rivals could be called Peace at Last or Let's Be Friends.

It's the latest sign that the pair have well and truly put their feud behind them, after reportedly falling out when Katy nabbed some of Taylor's dancers for a string of live dates.

The feud between the pair began in 2014, when Taylor revealed she and Katy had fallen out in a Rolling Stone magazine tell-all, stating the beef with her fellow pop star had inspired her hit song, Bad Blood.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Taylor said. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'

"She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."

Katy responded to the magazine comments the day after the story was published online, tweeting: "Watch out for the Regina George (catty Mean Girls character) in sheep's clothing..."

In January 2015, Katy confirmed the tweet was pointed at Taylor in a Billboard interview.

The pair reportedly made amends when the Firework singer reached out to Taylor on the opening night of her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour, sending her a literal olive branch.
