Stamford Bridge was the place to be on Thursday night as global superstar Ne-Yo took to the stage for an exciting performance. The event took place as part of the Mastercard Pricless London campaign that meant only 300 lucky fans had the chance to see him.

Kicking off the show with the energetic ‘Let’s Go’, the track he did with Calvin Harris, the party was officially started. The good thing is it didn’t stop, with Ne-Yo giving a top-notch performance of his countless hits. The songs performed included ‘Beautiful Monster’, ‘Closer’ and the song we all think of first when talking about Ne-Yo, ‘So Sick’.

Adding more excitmenet to the night Ne-Yo had a surprise up his sleeve for one of London’s very own aspiring artists, Sonna. Asking her to come out on stage and perform a song, he then surprised her by offering her a life-changing record deal and the chance to support him at his upcoming o2 arena tour. Speaking of the signing, Sonna said “I knew Ne-Yo was intrigued by the music as we’ve been talking for a while about my 'Music Monday' videos, but I had no idea that I would get signed like this – in front of such a receptive audience.” As Ne-Yo’s first ever international signing, Sonna will no doubt be delighted as well as under pressure to get it right, but she has an incredible voice and a great look so we think she’ll do just fine.

Finishing off a fantastic gig, Ne-Yo sang his latest track ‘Let Me Love You’, and I think I for one had forgotten how many great tracks Ne-Yo has; so I left Chelsea feeling lucky to have witnessed a true star performance as well as a real priceless moment for Sonna.
