Calvin Harris has had a pretty good year, having sold 1.4 million records and spent 20 weeks in the top ten last year in the UK alone. Following on from a string of successful collaborations with Kelis, Rihanna and anyone who is anyone in the charts at the moment, Harris has enlisted the haunting vocal talents of Florence Welch for his latest release, ‘Sweet Nothing’.

You know what to expect from Calvin Harris by now, and he certainly doesn’t disappoint, from the poppy, bouncy opening verses, the epic, anthemic chorus to the thumping, pulsating synth beats Harris is so famous for.

The track is accompanied by a seedy, filmic video of the duo looking disturbed and/or disturbing in a dingy underground bar, as well as a generous four different remixes of the track, including a particularly filthy dubstep mix from Dirtyloud.

These two superstars have proved why they’re in the charts more often than they’re not time and time again, and if this track is anything to go by, both of them are here to stay for a long, long time.
