Lisbee Stainton

Having never heard of Lisbee Stainton I was quite intrigued to give her song a listen and I was pleasantly surprised. Let’s be honest this isn’t an absolutely brilliant song but its perfect for an easy listening playlist on iTunes.

From the first line, the lyrics are completely cheesy and this doesn’t change throughout the song but who doesn’t love a bit of cheese now and then, especially when it has no bearing whatsoever on the hips! The music is standard tacky ballad stuff but the vocals certainly make up for a lot; given the right songs and decent music, she could certainly lay down some good tracks.

I think this song could be a guilty pleasure for the playlist. It isn’t fabulous but its got all that’s required for a decent enough tune. And I shall now leave you with my words of wisdom: never knock cheesy music! S Club 7 is all that needs to be said!
