They may not be a cure-all, but they certainly injected some life into the final day of the Isle of Wight Festival 2012. Music News decided to throw a few questions at The Vaccines before they rocked the main stage on Day 4 of IOW.

Have you boys been watching the festival?

No unfortunately, we just rocked up to it just now.

Boo! Ok, well you've got a new single coming out called 'No Hope', can you summarise it?

Well it's hopeless [laughs], but you should hear it, if you haven't that's terrible, because it's a good mix between our first record and our second one, but it's also a good introduction to our more slightly developed sound.

So what's the best thing about playing festivals?

[Smiles] Doing radio interviews.

What's your favourite song to play live?

We like playing 'Bad Mood' live, it's a new song of ours, listen out for it.
