The electro pop of Claustrophobia is the 3rd single from much travelled Sharliza Jelita. The track looks at troubled city life, the constant buzz and the desire to get away from the pressures it inflicts. Quite an interesting topic against the backdrop of almost bubble pop, but despite initial thoughts Sharliza’s work implies a level of experience. Add to that someone who enjoys her words and it has a quirky appeal.

Bringing to mind Hot Chip teaching múm how to dance, we’ll need to hear a lot more before hopes are settled but the once guitarist of Death Metal Disco Scene is at the very least an intriguing figure.
