God Almighty, what has happened to Heaven’s Basement? They sound incredible! Last year’s Unbreakable EP proved the four-piece had upped their game, but Paper Plague says they really mean it now. For a band who seemed to be forever dragging their heels, the proverbial rocket’s clearly found a new home in their collective backside and it’s all set to open an exciting chapter for the UK rock band.

Recently picked up by Red Bull Records, who will put out their long-awaited proper debut album in 2012, the band sound energised and ready for anything. And this hook-laden, ‘smack in the mouth’ teaser track brilliantly showcases the conviction of relatively new vocalist Aaron Buchanan while giving guitarist Sid Glover the freedom to run wild.

If this is a true taster of things to come, I’ll be wolfing their album come next spring.
