The gig started at 7pm with Justin Sullivan doing an acoustic set. There was mention of them doing 3 songs from every album during both sets, quiet a feat! The acoustic session was brilliant. He writes from the heart, and the acoustic delivery hides nothing.

A 20 minute break gives the crowd a chance to get outside for some much needed air. It really is a sticky venue, especially when it's full including the floor!!!

Second half the rest of the band join Justin and they throw themselves into the electric side of things. He is still a rock god, and although the militia have lost their dreads, and they've filled out a bit, the following is still as strong as in the 90's.
Some of the later material is very well written. I reckon Justin Sullivan is one of the most under-rated singer/ songwriters of our time - even if delivery can seem a little middle of the road.

On reflection, they did indeed do 3 songs from every album and they gave it their usual 100%.
I'm hope I will be around to see the 40th anniversary.
