Cheryl Cole is back, with a bang, on the TV with X Factor, Life Stories etc. and now is about to release her second solo album 'Messy Little Raindrops'. In advance of this comes her new, and very commercial single, 'Promise This'.

'Promise This' is a very radio friendly number with an amazingly catchy hookline of 'Allouette, ette, ette plumerai'; it will lock in your mind for days!! The whole song is constructed amazingly well and is a perfect pop tune.

Looking on google it appears the allouette plumerai bit is about a bird, interesting lyric!!

Good single, will no doubt be number one on Sunday, and a great set up for Cheryl's second album next week.
