Halloween’, traditionally celebrated every 31st October with kids ‘trick or treating’, has gradually risen to prominence as one of the big nights on the years calender for a party.

Costumes, ghost stories, apple bobbing, horror films and of course Trick or Treating are all the go, and now here’s a soundtrack to match up to the event - the biggest, most comprehensive Halloween party album released yet. Monster Halloween Hits is a 3 CD collection of the biggest, scariest tunes that’ll make your party go with a bang. Or maybe a bump.

Classic tracks include the obvious ones like Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’, Ray Parker jr ‘Ghostbusters’, Damien ‘Timewarp’, Meatloaf ‘Bat out of Hll’, David Bowie ‘Scary Monsters’, Duran Duran ‘Hungry like the Wolf’ and Blue Oyster Cult ‘(Don't Fear) the Reaper.

On top of this you get tracks like Shakira ‘she wolf’, the amazing 80's track from Love Bug Starski ‘Amityville’ and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince's Halloween take on their Summertime hit.

There are also some top tracks here with less Halloween and more classic about them - Radiohead's 'Creep', Alice Cooper with 'Poison' and The Specials 'Ghost Town'.

It loses it a bit with CD3 with few and far between in terms of hits, but this collection is worth it for CD1 & 2 if you are planning a party.

Essential Halloween tune - is this going to get as bit as Christmas now we have CDs for it??
