Sound of Guns

'Elementary of Youth' is the second single taken from Sound of Guns debut album ‘What Came From Fire’.

Starting off promisingly with a roaring riff and heartfelt vocals, 'Elementary of Youth' unfortunately doesn’t develop into the indie anthem it craves to be.

Lacking the imagination which could save the song from mediocrity, the chorus is ultimately the demise of ‘Elementary of Youth’.

Although this song fails to captivate, Sound of Guns do show glimmers of promise. Frontman Andrew Metcalfe’s vocals are a pleasure to listen to and with a less generic formula, Sound of Guns really could be onto something bigger and better.
