Brandon Flowers

The Killers’ Brandon Flowers has just released “Crossfire”, the first single from his debut solo album “Flamingo”.

It's a great track that is instantly recognisable as Brandon Flowers, but certainly isn't a Killers tracks. Some of the album was intended to be the material for the next Killers track, but as the band wanted a break he went alone. This appears to have resulted in Flowers adding his own spin to the tracks.

Crossfire is a great pop track; rousing chorus, great verse and Flowers unique and special vocals. The track is more acoustic and less electronic that The Killers and that works really well with Flowers vocals.
