Scouting For Girls have definitely stepped up their game from their debut album to release 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV'. You can tell a lot of work has gone into every crafted song and the up-tempo album is one that everyone should definitely give a listen.

'Famous' is a single from the album that is bound to be a huge hit. It is possibly the most catchy song and is understandably where the albums title originates from. It has been described as 'a video killed the radio star for the 21st century', this perfectly summing up the songs overall feeling. The lyrics in 'Famous' will perfectly fit everyone's life at some point, particularly in today's society and is excellently crafted together to have such an appeal to become a huge hit. It's another song from the band, that you cannot resist tapping along and singing to.

After one listen of the album, the songs become a somewhat familiarity to yourself, engraved in your mind from listening. With catchy lyrics and bouncing melodies throughout, the album is one that will uplift your spirits.

'On The Radio' sounds just like as if it will become a summery song that can uplift any mood with it's extreme catchiness. 'Blue As Your Eyes' from the beginning sounds just as the old 'Scouting For Girls' style songs that they can carry off so well yet does adopt to their new mature side, showing it is sure to be a success.

The maturity in their material definitely does not over shine Scouting For Girls usual personality we have became adjusted to. 'Posh Girls', another song bound to be a hit, contains lyrics which cannot resist making you laugh. Confiding the typical stereo type of 'Posh Girls' perfectly and showcases the talent which the band have in making such a stereotype into a song that is bound to be another hit. Just as Scouting For Girls can do, they carry off the song perfectly and making it into a song that you can imagine everyone singing along to. '1+1' follows on from this song perfectly with the lyrics also managing to cause a laugh. Again the band are turning a normal story that is too often told, into a catchy song that everyone will know and love. The two songs together work perfectly and Scouting For Girls are one of the few, if not the only, band who manage to carry of such a skill using lyrics that would not work with any other band. The broad appeal of the band is just another reason, that the album will become a hit.

The album isn't all up beat tempos, 'Silly Song' allows the band to showcase their talents more broadly than before. The song lyrics again are very relevant and can apply over different situations, particularly summed up with the line 'I know it's hard but life's a bit like that'. The final song on the album, 'Take A Chance', another love style song that will apply in life and can be related to. This song just adds another success to the album and works well within the style of the band despite being a more ballad style.

The band manage to encapsulate a wide variety of feelings over the whole album, giving a song for every given time and situation, something that established bands cannot do, they seem to do in this album with ease. From first listen, 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV' is one that you instantly know is going to be a hit. It has a broad appeal over the album and there is a song for everyone. Every song carries itself in it's own unique way and is perfect for the style Scouting For Girls fit in. You cannot fault any of the songs and find yourself wanting to listen to the album over again. Following the success of number one single 'This Ain't A Love Song', the album is sure to be another hit for the band and perhaps will be one of the years best releases.
