The 3 piece band from Hampshire which are made up of Sarah and Hamish Macintosh and George Hinton have achieved praise from established magazines such as Timeout and Q.

Lovers is fast and fiery from the offing with Sarah Macintosh’s confident vocals bellowing over the fast indie sound in the background. The guitaring is cliche indie, (not that there is anything wrong with that!) taking similarities from American indie band the Drums. There has been a rise of prominent female vocalists in indie/rock band over the past few years and Macintosh certainly doesn’t fall short.

The chorus ‘you and I could be lovers, you and I will never be in love’ is extremely catchy and is the perfect recipe for a successful indie-pop tune. Don’t be surprised if Lovers is played at forthcoming NME club nights......
