A song which might ring a bell to those who saw a particular trailer for Matthew Vaughan's 2010 flick Kick-Ass, 'How To Start a Revolution' is a re-release ahead of Some Velvet Morning's second album 'Allies'.

The song delivers what you might expect from trailer background music, a blend of catchy vocals and a repeated riff, which creates a likeable indie pop tune.

Though the sing is an easy listen, it's also fairly un-arresting and could easily come off as one-note repetition rather than a compelling single.

As a way of building anticipation and reminding people about the band ahead of the album it's sure to do its job, but in terms of making a lasting impression it would come off better in the company of the rest of the album.
