Although its not a new Alkaline Trio album, as much of it could have been... the sound hasn't strayed into a new and exciting path that some might have thought. Unlike previous project Heavens which dark and different, yet still very familiar.

This is just, well. familiar. Which isn't a bad thing, without any news on the next Alk3 offering, Babylon fills the gap very nicely indeed.

Babylon includes help from AFI bassist Hunter Burgan & My Chemical Romance drummer Jarrod Alexander.

Babylon is due May 8th through Superball Music.
