’99 is the second single taken from Harper Simon’s new LP Division Street released back on April 1st. ’99 is a slight
step away from HS’s usual harder alternative country sound, it takes on a more upbeat summery guitar feel. From start to finish it evokes the feel of summer and with an overall happy feel makes a great song for a sunny day. Nothing too overly complex the song is an airy mellow love song which lightens anyone’s mood. An overall nice and surprising change to his usual material.
