If someone dared you to listen to a song you probably would because you’d be intrigued as to why you were being dared.

That’s what pulled my attention enough to make me listen to this song and I’m glad I did. It’s a real feel good piece with some great meanings behind it.

Looking at the lyrics, they are short, sharp statements that are direct to each and every listener and can mean very different things to different people.

‘I dare you to love, I dare you to cry, I dare you to run, I dare you to try’. All parts of our everyday lives and they are all parts which make us human and allow us to be free.

Other lyrics used are very collective terms such as ‘we’re’ and ‘all together’ so this song is also being used to bring people together.

This is confirmed by the visuals to the song, the video starts off with all individuals across different parts of the country with different lives. One guys running and jumping over things, another guys biking and a girls skating, all fast paced like the song itself.
