Ellie Rose has just signed to Peer Music who looks after the likes of Newton Faulkner, Anvil and Mel C. When this seventeen year old singer songwriter isn't playing in Jamie Laing's (Made in Chelsea) shop “Candy Kittens”, she is continuingly gigging. Putting most musicians to shame (with the possible exception of Ed Sheeran), Ellie will have played her one hundredth live gig very soon. Sweet and polite, Ellie is a very intelligent teenager and despite her young years, she has a clear idea of her individual sound.

Don’t be confused by her model-esque looks, she is not a packaged pop star by any means. Growing up listening to Green Day and Slipknot, she has a diverse taste in music and she certainly isn't shy - it takes guts to play "Wild Thing" in front of Reg Presley (The Troggs) having never picked up a guitar at the age of eleven!

In the interview below, Ellie Rose chats about meeting One Direction and offering to write them a song, how she met Adam Ant and what she has in store for the coming year.
