Bastille

Bastille, the indie quartet from London carried on the magnificent HP Connected music series in style with a 12 song set which ended in fan favourite ‘Pompeii’. It was only fitting that Bastille end with their explosive song (pardon the pun) in front of an exclusive crowd on a sweaty Wednesday evening.

Starting with ‘Bad Blood’, the album titled song bellowed through Kings Cross, causing a wave of excitement amongst the packed crowd. In addition to the wonderful music on show, the lighting certainly added to the spectacle, especially during ‘Flaws’ which was followed by a 2 song encore.

On the back of their brilliant debut album, Bastille are currently in the process of writing the follow up. Watch this space is all I say…..
