Katie Coleman kicked off the evening in a memorable evening in Soho House. She only played 2
songs but left a lasting impression with her catchy lyrics and bubbly stage antics. The 19 year old set the stage perfectly for the New Yorker Ariana and the Rose!
Ariana played a 7 song set list which included new single ‘Heartbeat’, which is set to be released on November 18th. Heartbeat, has already been covered and remixed on numerous occasions and was sung elegantly in front of a warm crowd. Ariana’s voice is elegant and confident and she really knows how to fill up a room, especially when she covered Smokey Robinson’s ‘Tears of a Clown’. Her style has been described as a cross between Lady Gaga and Barbara Streisand, however I feel it is unfair to label Ariana, as she certainly brings her own palette to the table!
Not only is Ariana talented, but she is incredibly humble. She stayed around after the show with her fans, answering questions and just hanging out. She was unbelievably grateful to everyone who attended, and not once refused a question. Lucky enough for me, I got a signed copy of her new single, which will no doubt be treasured as she hopefully turns her potential into stardom!
