MESC 2014 Song title: 'Let The Sunshine In'

What message does your song give?:
The message of the song is that people shouldn't waste their life away by being miserable, and should start enjoying the little things that really matter!

Are you a big Eurovision fan? Why/Why Not?:
Yes I'm a fan (I wouldn't say big!). I love the vibe that Eurovision carries around it, and I love watching and voting along at home every year. When I was younger and still lived in Malta, we sometimes even had Eurovision parties. Nowadays it's sometimes hard to find the time between work, studying and gigs, but I do try my best to keep up with the Eurovision scene

Your favourite Maltese Eurovision Song of all time?:
'Tomorrow' by Gianluca.

Your favourite European Eurovision Song of all time?:
'Euphoria' by Loreen.

Who inspires you as an Artist?:
My artist inspirations are Michael Jackson, Jessie J, Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Would you share highlights from your music career during the last 12 months?:
My music career highlights in the last 12 months have been gigging acoustically around top venues in London, receiving a scholarship on the Songwriting Course at 'The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance, getting to the Grande Finale of OpenMic UK, Support act to 'Ciara' at the Musicalize concert at IndigO2 and getting to the live finals of The Malta Eurovision Song Contest.

What are your goals in music?:
My goal is to have a long term career in music, whether it's as a performer, songwriter or musician, just as long as my future has something to do with music then I'm happy.

How much time per day do you spend on your music career?:
At the moment I am doing music full-time, so it's safe to say that the majority of my time is spent on my career! I also have Uni three times a week which is linked to progressing in my music career, as after this 3 year course I will have earned a BA in Songwriting. This in itself takes up lots of my time, especially since we're expected to write an average of three songs a week :).

If you had to choose another Artist to duet with, who would that be and why?:
I would definitely choose Jessie J to duet with, this is because I feel musically our style is similar and because she has got such a strong stage presence, not to mention her amazing vocal ability, and on top of all that I would have so to much to learn from her.

Tell us why you should be Malta’s representative in Denmark?:
I think I should represent Malta in Denmark this year as I feel that I have a strong song and team which I truly believe in, and that combination is working perfectly for me.
