Britney Spears will debut her brand new single next week.

The singer announced the leading track from her new album will hit the radio airwaves on Monday in what she deemed a “RED RED RED HOT RED ALERT” on Twitter.

The 31-year-old told her almost 32 million followers that they would be able to hear the tune that evening then it would be available to download the next day.

“Work B***h is going to premiere WORLDWIDE this Monday, Sept 16th at 6pm ET,” she posted. “You can listen on @iHeartRadio or your local radio station.

“Work B***h will be available on @iTunesMusic that night at 12:01am ET, Sept 17th... are u ready?! #YouBettaWorkB #1Week.”

Drag queen and American TV personality Ru Paul is speculated to feature on the track.

Meanwhile Britney has been shooting the music video for the tune over the last few days.

“EPIC EPIC 3 days shooting #WorkB***h in the desert with Ben Mor. Thanks for braving the heat with me.
#NextLevelVideo :)” she shared online earlier that day.

On Monday she posted a snap of herself in skimpy attire as she soaked up the sun in the dry climate.

“Gonna get my tan on in the desert in between shots on the #WorkB***h set today. It's HOT out here people!!!! #desert #heatwave.”

Britney is set to begin a concert residency in Las Vegas at the end of the year and has been working hard to get in shape for performing a 90-minute gig every night.

“She is doing Olympic-style training. This is hard-core stuff,” her trainer Tony Martinez told E! News. “Britney knew she needed to step up her game. She is just drilling it but she likes too! She loves to sweat and she still talks smack to me."
