Revived alternative indie band Space have opened a Pledge Music fund for their forthcoming fifth studio album.

One of the quintessential pop rock bands of the late 90s, Space had a string of hits including Avenging Angels, Me & You Vs The World and the seminal Female Of The Species, before record company wranglings forced them to lose their momentum.

Their third album, Love You More Than Football was infamously shelved by Gut Records back in 2000, and the band split up five years later, only to reunite in late 2011.

Following a string of live dates earlier this year, the band are now set to release Attack Of The Mutant 50ft Kebab independently, and are offering a series of pledge prizes, from signed copies of the album right up to acoustic gigs in your living room, in return for the necessary funds to get the album pressed.

Fans can help the cause at PledgeMusic, and tickets for Space shows in Liverpool, Birmingham and London (including Borderline on Halloween), are available now. The music video for lead single Fortune Teller is below.
