‘Musicalize’ is a live music event like no other! A night of amazing live music performed by some of the finest unsigned artists in the UK. Gracing the stage have been several established artists who are currently doing big things in the industry. Names like Professor Green, Dappy, Tinchy Stryder have headlined this event.
Anglo/Maltese talent Sophie DeBattista has won the privilige to open this event, a concert by American RnB star ‘Ciara’ at the O2 Arena (Indigo 2) London.
The 19 year old singer/songwriter had her original acoustic song, ‘Independent Miss’, picked up by the Organizers and actually made the final 13 of the ‘Musicalize UK Unsigned Competition’. A week long voting took place via popular social media Facebook, and Sophie emerged as a strong winner.
“When me and my dear friend Elton Zarb wrote this song, we knew it was something special. So we are absolutely delighted that it has been recognized in this way. I am so happy with this ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity and am looking forward to learning a lot from it! Hope to see many of my followers at the concert and would love to meet them after the concert. Also am eternally grateful to all who support me and my music!!” Said a beaming Sophie.
‘Musicalize UK’ concert by Ciara takes place on Friday 14th June 2013 at the O2 arena (Indigo 2).
