Although he is only 16, he is still leaving his mark on the Maltese music industry having released various singles on the island which got a considerable ammount of air play, such as Take It Or Leave It (Richard Rogers/Elizabeth G) which made it to the number 1 spot on the Reverb Chart, The Fittest Girl In History (Paul Harper), and Can’t Wait (Brian Steele) which showed a younger side of Stefan.
Finally after a short break he has returned with a new tune different from what his followers are used to. The new single entitled “Disco Lemonade” which is set to be his proper debut in the local music scene was written by Charlie Mason who has worked with some of the biggest names in music in the USA and Europe including Ashley Tisdale, Disney’s Lemonade Mouth, Eric Saade, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Connor etc, and Crush Boys (Daniel Volpe & Thomas Lipp) who also produced the track which has a catchy pop dance beat to it which surely has the right ingredients to become a summer hit. Stefan Galea started his career at the young age of 8 taking part in various music festivals and also the international American ISC songwriting competition haveing made it to the semi-finals from hundreds of artists. Galea evolved from being a Malta Junior Eurovision Finalist back in 2009 to becoming a developed artist under ICAD and managed by Maddee Dargue of A4F Music, Stefan also performed at the Maltese rock chick’s concert Ira Losco and supported the UK pop girl chart hitting duoThe Cheeky Girls while touring the Maltese islands, having performed with rock guitarist Andy Barnett of rock band FM and Texanna at the Farsons Great Beer Festival 2011.
