Seven years after we first saw Leona Lewis leap into the limelight, she is back with an eagerly awaited single 'Trouble' which is scheduled for release on October 7th.

'Trouble' will receive it's first radio play next Tuesday (August 21st) on Radio 1. The track features a rap by acclaimed US rapper Childish Gambino.

Leona spoke about her new single saying 'Trouble' tells the story of love going bad and becoming destructive, aspects of which we can all relate to. It’s a deeply emotional and poignant song that I have a real connection to". In relation to the rap by US Rapper Childish Gambino, who features in the track, Leona said, "I wanted someone who was creative and poetic and witty and he ticks all those boxes and compliments the record perfectly."

Trouble was produced by Fraser T Smith and Naughty boy. It is the first single to be taken from Leona's third studio album 'Glassheart' which will be available on October 14th. The album is said to be a labour of love for the Leona, who has co-written her new album with a wealth of home-grown talent, including; Emeli Sande, Naughty Boy, Craze and Hoax, Fraser T Smith.
