Amy Macdonald, one of Europe’s biggest selling singer songwriters, returned this summer with a brand new album ‘Life In A Beautiful Light’.

The album is riding high in the charts around Europe and now Amy Macdonald is set to announce her first tour of 2012, starting in the UK on 27th October.

The dates will be available exclusively from www.amymacdonald.co.uk/tickets at 9am on Wednesday 25th July and then on general sale from Friday 27th July (www.gigsandtours.com). This gives Amy’s fans an exclusive window to get the best seats first!

The next single from ‘Life In A Beautiful Light’ is the beautiful Pride. Pride is a classic Macdonald track that 50,000 Scottish football fans will claim as their own - it could be an anthem for the Olympics, but in fact it was penned about the singer performing at Hampden Park.

‘Life In A Beautiful Light’ was recorded between ‘State of the Ark’ Studios in Richmond and Mayfield Studio in Surrey and produced by Amy’s long-term collaborator and manager, Pete Wilkinson and mixed by the legendary Bob Clearmountain.
