Earlier this month, the Harlem native made her hometown debut at NY's Bowery Ballroom, bringing her sold-out extravaganza, the original MERMAID BALL - complete with four opening acts, floating sea creatures, a mermaid costume contest, and ehough cotton candy and balloons to fill up a football stadium!
Also, Azealia pushed back the release of her FANTASEA MIXTAPE to July 11th. This past weekend, the sassy hiphoptress revealed to NME that it will include a cover of a track by 90's icons, The Prodigy. She confirmed the mixtape has "a sea theme, but it's less obviously mermaid stuff and more like witchy hip-hop and some real rave shit."
Her full-length debut album BROKE WITH EXPENSIVE TASTE is set for release later this fall.
