Bob’s band features former Boomtown Rat and long-time collaborator Pete Briquette (bass & keyboards), Vince Lovepump (violin & mandolin), Alan Dunn (keyboards, accordion), Johnny Turnbull (guitar), Niall Power (percussion, keyboards), and Jim Russell (drums). They will delve deep into Bob’s illustrious catalogue of songs - from ‘Rat Trap’ and ‘I Don’t Like Mondays’ to ‘The Great Song Of Indifference’ and ‘Silly Pretty Thing’

Bob Geldof has released five albums as a solo artist, the most recent 2011’s acclaimed “How To Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell”, and six albums with his seminal Dublin band The Boomtown Rats.

A deluxe box set of “How To Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell” featuring the original album with extra songs, a DVD which features interviews, promo videos including the uncut X-rated version of the controversial video for ‘Systematic Six-Pack’ starring Rhys Ifans, and live performances in Paris and Austin Texas, and a hardback book with lyrics and photos will be released in May.

A new album “Live Target” recorded live on Bob’s tour across the UK in autumn ’11 will be available on this tour and from www.bobgeldof.com . The full tracklisting of “Live Target” is:
