Following the overwhelming reaction to Birdy’s first headline show at The Tabernacle a few weeks ago, 15 year old singer/songwriter, Birdy (AKA Jasmine Van den Bogaerde) is pleased to announce her next London headline show.
She will play The O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Tuesday September 11th with tickets going on-sale this coming Friday May 4th
Ever since the release of her self-titled debut album, which is now certified as gold in UK , Birdy has performed across the globe on major TV shows such as Ellen in the USA and The Final of The Voice in Holland . More recently she wrote a song for the Hunger Games Movie entitled "Just a Game" which features on the Movie Soundtrack.
Her recent performance at The Tabernacle in London garnered 4 star reviews from both The Times (‘She possesses a voice so pure and powerful that the audience at this, her first gig, were left open-mouthed with amazement.’) and the Evening Standard (‘a voice of real soul and subtlety’).
