Smashing Pumpkins to release album-in-album

Smashing Pumpkins will officially release Oceania as an album from their recent, expansive song-cycle.

Billy Corgan and Smashing Pumpkins has been working on an interesting project, releasing 44 songs gradually under the umbrella title of Teargarden By Kaleidyscope.

Now 13 of the tracks will be plucked out and released as a discrete album, which will be titled Oceania. It will be Smashing Pumpkins’ seventh official album, and the first proper record from the band since 2007’s Zeitgeist.

Oceania will be released through EMI on June 19 in the US. Check out the track-listing below.
