North London 21-year-old sensation Delilah has announced details of her new single ‘Breathe’, out on April 30th through Atlantic Records. Produced by Delilah and Hyperdub label’s LV, ‘Breathe’ was written by Delilah at the tender age of 15.

She says of the track: “‘Breathe’ is the first song I wrote in first person. I call it my self-help song.” To coincide with the release, Delilah has revealed details of her first UK headline tour, which kicks off at Glasgow’s o2 ABC 2 on April 12th, with further shows scheduled for Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol and Norwich, before finishing up at London’s KOKO on April 24.

Delilah recently unveiled a free downloadable mixtape entitled ‘2 - 4am’ from her official website delilahofficial.co.uk. The mixtape features eight tracks, including Joe Goddard’s fantastic remix of ‘Love You So’, as well as some previously unreleased material. It also includes ‘Never Be Another’, playlisted on 1Xtra where she’s included in their Hot For 2012 artists. The mixtape gives fans an early taster of what can be expected from her forthcoming debut album, ‘From the Roots Up’, out this summer through Atlantic Records.

Delilah recently supported Emeli Sandé at London’s KOKO as part of MTV’s ‘Brand New for 2012’ initiative and headlined London’s Garage on February 9 for HMV’s ‘Next Big Thing’.
