Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks announce new single

Summer is on its way, helped not only by the degree of tilt the Earth’s axis has in relation to the Sun, but also Portland’s own sunshine merchants Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks. They release new single ‘Stick Figures In Love’ from their recent universally excellent full-length Mirror Traffic on Monday the 2nd of April 2012.

Produced by the one and only Beck Hansen, “Stick Figures In Love” is a slice of up-tempo guitar flecked gorgeousness driven by a relentless churning strum. It also features a sweetly off-the-cuff vocal delivery from Malkmus; background interjections and studio chat all left in. ‘Stick Figures In Love’ will be available via digital download.
