Rihanna and Deadmau5 to play $1,000 charity gig

Rihanna and Deadmau5 sign on for a charity show where the tickets will cost $1000 each.

Rolling Stone reports that Rihanna, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris and Sebastian Ingrosso from Swedish House Mafia will team for a rather pricey charity concert for Roc Nation.

It will benefit the Children’s Orthopaedic Center and The Mark Taper–Johnny Mercer Artists Program at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The show will take place at the House Of Blues in LA on February 12, with tickets going for a sweet thousand bucks a pop.

Those tickets are on sale now, and if you need a deal-sweetener, RS unsubtly suggests that since that’s the same night as the Grammys, also in LA at the Staples Centre, there may be even more “special” guests.
